We are proud to partner with the Asthma & Respiratory Foundation in their Breathe Better September awareness and fundraising campaign. We’re backing this initiative because we believe it is important to help improve the living standards in New Zealand through warmer/drier houses and also it’s important that people look after their health by being more active.
It’s time to Step Up…
New Zealand has one of the highest rates of asthma in the world, with 1 in 7 children and 1 in 8 adults living with the condition. Breathe Better September is a fun way to help raise the national profile of respiratory health in New Zealand and encourage better breathing. The money raised contributes to the work the Foundation does to support the 700,000 Kiwis living with asthma and other respiratory diseases.

About Asthma Respiratory Foundation
The Asthma and Respiratory Foundation NZ is New Zealand’s not-for-profit sector authority on all respiratory conditions including asthma, bronchiectasis, childhood bronchiolitis, childhood pneumonia, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), lung cancer and obstructive sleep apnoea. The Foundation develops and supports respiratory health best practices through research, training and education. Funds raised throughout Breathe Better September will help continue these initiatives to support those with respiratory disease in New Zealand.
